MEETING
The next meeting will be Monday, July 19th at 7 pm at Hannah’s Bend Park in Cannon Falls. .See youse all there! Also show meeting on Monday July 26th for final details.

MEETING HIGHLITES
- We will meet at 8am on Saturday, July 24th at the Dairy Inn parking lot to cruise together to the little log Show.
- The members decided on the Welch cruise route for the Friday cruise taking Hagen avenue North to New Trier provided Al will get Dakota Cty Sheriff to do traffic at the corner.
- Friday July 30th at 8am will need to pick up 60 parking cones at the city garage, meet at 12 noon to distribute cones with no parking signs in city parking lot, then on to Grandpa’s to set up sound and put out signs and cones and sweep driveway. Will need people at Grandpa’s by 4pm to start lining up cars. John Lee will lead a group of cars to the Angel’s Care Nursing Home at 6pm.
- Saturday, July 31st we will meet at Hannah’s Bend park to set up for car show, Doug will bring lime machine and Neal will provide lime, will deliver canned goods to Cannon Food shelf that morning.
- Wine in the Valley dinner cruise by Al was a success—we will schedule a brunch there this fall for a leaf cruise.
- We will be having a fall club picnic in September--- need volunteer location.
Granpas will be checked on by Denny for the big Friday cruise and Al will check with the Dakota County Sheriff for their help that night at 50&85 for our right turn.
- Mel’s belated birthday cake was presented and shared by all present with Mel present with son Ron and his Chevrolet--- Doug led us in a Happy Birthday song to Mel!
- Dave Garner will do ballots and provide the computer and program for tabulating ballots for Car Show.
- The Friday cruise route selected was the Welch route with New Trier on the route. Gary will do the narrative, Bob Bryan will do the map and Scott will provide the 250 copies.
- John Lee will order 4 sattelites for the park with one being for the handicapped.
- Motion was made and seconded to approve Gary’s budget of $100 for candy for the parade.
- The Bike Race was cancelled and the Chief of Police had to wake up John Lee at his post to inform him that the race was cancelled!
- The Little Log Show will be Saturday, July 25th----- Let Gary know if you are going and he’ll send in the club entries.
- Drawing Winner: Mel Stanko (Birthday present)!

- Saturday, July 24th from 8am till 5pm,the Cannon Cruisers will be at the Little Log Show with Whiskers. Leave the Dairy Inn at 8am. Gary has pre-registered members going.

- Sunday, August 1st- SHOWTIME 6am till 3 to 4pm.
- Saturday, August 7th, Bearing Burners Car Show at Baypoint Park in Red Wing from 8am till 3pm.

- Monday, August 16th, 7pm club meeting at Hannah’s Bend.
- Saturday, August 28th, Cruise-In downtown behind Scofield’s.

The club newsletter is published and circulated on a monthly basis to all of its members that are in good standing. Advertising space in the newsletter is available to all members. Some advertising options are as follows: garage space for rent, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, etc. If you wish to submit items for the newsletter; contact the editor, Gary Sigmeth, at (507)263-4622.
